Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an NPO Management. This unpaid volunteer opportunity is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in non-profit organization management while contributing to our mission of supporting autism education and community initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing emails, and organizing files and documents.
Support fundraising and development efforts by:
Conducting donor outreach to cultivate and maintain relationships.
Researching and identifying grant opportunities, and assisting with grant writing.
Planning and coordinating fundraising events to engage the community and increase contributions.
Help maintain donor and volunteer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and materials for board meetings, staff meetings, and external stakeholders.
Support creating marketing materials.
Research non-profit best practices, industry trends, and funding opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant degree program in non-profit organization management, business administration, public administration, social work, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Detail-oriented and resourceful, with a proactive and can-do attitude.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Google Apps (e.g., Google Drive, Google Docs), online meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).

  • Proficiency in using is a plus.

  • Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in Chinese is a plus.
